Three days in Sorrento and three in Naples with accommodation in a 4-star hotel in the heart of the historic centre, in a double room with breakfast included.
This is a tour to get to know the Amalfi Coast, a synthesis of Italian charm: sea, nature and art that come together in a constellation of enchanting locations including Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Praiano and Vietri sul Mare.
For those who love archaeology and history, Pompeii and Herculaneum are just around the corner.
And what about the islands of Procida and Capri, an icon of beauty and glamour in the world, with its famous Piazzetta and fashionable clubs.
However, the essence of the place cannot be captured without spending another three days in Naples: a city of infinite history, from the Roman houses that you visit underground to the medieval castles and churches of the most sumptuous Baroque.
Naples captivates with its street life featuring food, music and culture in a joyful atmosphere that is unparalleled in Europe.
This is a holiday steeped in beauty, ideal for couples.
Day 1: Sorrento, discovering a magical landscape
Arrival at Naples airport, transfer with a private chauffeur to Sorrento and accommodation in 4-star hotel, in a double room. The hotel's central location makes it easy to visit Sorrento, a jewel set in the crystal-clear waters of the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the steep slopes overlooking the azure waters of Ischia, Procida and the Gulf of Naples, or immerse yourself in the maze of narrow streets amidst architectural gems and the scent of lemons. From Corso Italia, you can reach Piazza Tasso, the city's meeting place, and explore the back street of Santa Maria della Pietà, one of the most picturesque. Let’s not forget the fishing village of Marina Grande, with its colourful boats gazing at Vesuvius in the distance, and the Bagni della Regina Giovanna, an unspoilt basin with natural pools and the ruins of an ancient Roman villa. Don't forget to go down to the beach of Marina Piccola and the harbour for an unforgettable view.
Day 2: The enchantment of a journey through time while walking in Pompeii and Herculaneum
Breakfast at the hotel and departure from Sorrento to Pompeii and Herculaneum with private chauffeur.
included experience: Tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum amid archeology and culture
Together with an expert guide explore Pompeii, the ancient Roman city torn devastated by the eruption of Vesuvius in October 79 AD and extraordinarily well preserved.
Relive the everyday life of ancient Rome in the lava-buried city, walking along the ancient, cobbled streets.
Enter the pulsating life of a civilisation with the Forum, sacred areas, bath complexes, villas, shops and popular dwellings.
Then on to Herculaneum, which boasts a unique state of preservation. Welcome to the only archaeological area in the world that provides a vivid picture of how ancient cities were structured.
At the end of the visit, you will return to Sorrento to the hotel.
To end the day, choose a restaurant and delight your palate with traditional dishes: from gnocchi alla sorrentina to the iconic babà, treat yourself to an embrace of taste that reflects the love for the land and the joy of sharing food around a table.
Day 3: Capri and Anacapri, the perennial wonder
Breakfast at the hotel and departure from Sorrento to Capri and Anacapri.
Included experience: Tour of Capri amid nature and beauty
From the port of Marina Grande, embark on a hydrofoil with an experienced guide.
The route is the one used over the centuries by navigators along the Amalfi Coast to reach Capri, the island already chosen by Roman emperors as a place of beauty.
Sail the crystal-clear waters in the clear early morning light and be enchanted by the Blue Island, also called the Island of Love.
If the weather conditions are favourable, hop on a small boat to the Blue Grotto and be enchanted by the silvery blue reflections filtering through the partially submerged entrance.
With local transport on the island, continue the journey to Anacapri, with its more intimate and unspoilt nature, with the Villa San Michele and the chairlift that, from the top of Monte Solaro, offers a breathtaking view of the place.
End the day along the cobbled streets of Capri, in its 'Piazzetta', a glamorous icon in the world. Venture into the narrow streets and fashionable boutiques beloved by timeless celebrities like Jackie Kennedy and Rita Hayworth.
Between unforgettable moments and views, stop off at one of the island's many restaurants, then continue the walk with the enchantment of the Faraglioni, 'the guardians of Capri', framing a perfect day. In the evening, return to the hotel in Sorrento.
Day 4: The history and taste of Naples
Transfer from Sorrento to Naples with a private chauffeur and accommodation in a 4-star hotel in the historic centre, in a double room. The hotel's central location allows you to stroll freely around the city, discovering all its history. See the fortification system in tufa blocks of the Greek Neapolis in Piazza Vincenzo Bellini and walk along the main street of Via dei Tribunali and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore at Pietrasanta, with one of the oldest bell towers in Italy. Then dive into the Quartieri Spagnoli, a grid built by the then Viceroy Pedro de Toledo to quarter the military garrisons, today an expression of Neapolitan veracity.
Included experience: Napoli Food Experience amid know-how and flavours
Depending on the time of day chosen, meet with an experienced guide and capture the other essence of the city: taste.
From the pizza that is the symbol of Italian cuisine around the world to the real Espresso, you will have an unforgettable walk while tasting Neapolitan street-food.
Day 5: The art and traditions of Naples
Breakfast at the hotel and a free day to discover Naples. The hotel's central location makes it possible to visit the most famous sights in the city centre: Piazza Plebiscito, the city's drawing room, the Galleria Umberto I and the oldest opera house in the world, the San Carlo. It is also possible to go down Via Toledo, the backbone of the historical centre, to reach the Quartieri Spagnoli. Browse the shops and stalls in the Pignasecca district market and admire one of the most majestic Baroque churches in Piazza del Gesù. And then, walk from Piazza Bellini to San Gregorio Armeno to learn about the world-famous art of the Neapolitan nativity scene and, finally, the Treasure of San Gennaro kept in the Cathedral. Don't forget a visit to the Capodimonte Museum with its ancient and modern collections and a stop at the Madre Museum with world-famous contemporary artworks. By reservation only, it is also possible to visit underground Naples, a 2,400-year-old journey through Roman tunnels and cisterns.
